VIDEO: Texas Officers Rescue Robbery Suspect from Burning Car
A group of Fort Worth, TX, officers saved the life of an armed robbery suspect following a police chase through south Fort Worth earlier this month.
Officers were told to be on the lookout for a silver sedan with three men, possibly armed with guns.
They spotted the suspects’ car on I-35, and a pursuit with speeds in excess of 100 miles per hour ensued.
Eventually, the car wrecked and it wasn’t long before the engine erupted into flames.

Police in Fort Worth, Texas frantically work to free a man from a burning car.
But it’s not just any man — he’s an armed robbery suspect, who crashed while trying to flee from police.
There were three men in the car when it crashed.
Two of them fled, but the third was trapped in the vehicle.
One officer reportedly came to the driver’s side of the burning car to help free the man’s legs.

The crash happened a couple of weeks ago, but police have just released the body cam video.”In light of what happened a couple of weeks ago in Dallas and Baton rouge, people are taking notice (on camera) of what police officers do on a daily basis.”
The suspect is OK, although he IS facing robbery charges.
Fort Worth Police Sergeant Marc Povero says it’s part of the job.
